Transformation

Headhunted based on Subject Matter Expert status by a leading supermarket to turnaround an underperforming transformation programme; led strategy to devise and direct time sensitive recommendations for out sourcing improvement. Executed robust transformation vision to deliver an enhanced service proposition enabling a central hospital to link with 200+ retail outlets; established process capability and costing schedule. Gained agreement from board securing new provider status with the potential to deliver payback and further penetrate a niche market whilst realising significant savings.

Innovation

Evaluated market risk of sector changes including Hospital Trusts outsourcing dispensing services to competitor. Evaluated market proposition and led development of risk mitigation business model including influencing stakeholders to engage with bid process. Negotiated agreement with an NHS Trust and Programme Managed implementation for ensuing 18 months.  Generated an additional £5.8m revenue per annum and established platform for expansion into a further 4 major hospitals.

Growth

Part of senior executive team completing successful Private Equity backed transactions for leading clinical outsourcing business responsible for 25% CAGR over ten years.

Stakeholder Management

Initiated politically sensitive negotiations as advisor to the National Clinical Homecare Association to minimise negative market impact following withdrawal of services by a member. Engaged stakeholders to coordinate response and devise crisis mitigation strategy within tight deadlines. Resulted in smooth transition with zero impact on patient care.
